In this role, you'll be instrumental in crafting user experiences, designs, and working with a suite of design tools along with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Knowledge of PHP is considered a plus, as it will enable a smoother integration with our backend systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop user-facing features with a focus on user experience and design.
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Collaborate with backend developers and web designers to improve usability.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and apply them into operations and activities.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.
- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks.
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch).
- Knowledge of PHP and how to integrate frontend with backend services.
- Familiarity with modern frontend build pipelines and tools.
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
- Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
